Fashion Weeks are going on, so far one of my favorite trend for the AW 2010/2011 season is the vintage, mixing fabrics, textures, patterns, colors lady like style, I absolutely love it!
Here some peek at that style, starting from the left: Chris Benz, Peter Som, Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs.

The new collection of Marc by Marc Jacobs gives as a bit of a feeling that we are back in those times when Red Army was marching on, boys and girls it is about the time to adapt the army style with a crazy mix of red color. Well done Mr Marc!

It's gonna be hard for me to write anything about it, it seems that anything I try to write sounds wrong, stupid not the way I want it. Its been few hours I am trying to pull something together but it is damn hard.
We haven't see this one coming.. And in my head all the time one question: why?
Talent like Alexander McQueen doesn't happened often, it is more then rare. He was a symbol of our era's fashion, he achived to mix fashion with art.
Here is part of his interview that was published Interview Magazine:
"MCQUEEN: Well, I think sometimes I might scare the editors, because they might feel they're getting old and they're not understanding it. The problem lies on their side of the fence, not mine. I come from a different era and I design clothes for our era. I think of people I want to dress when I design. Of course I make mistakes. I'm human. If I didn't make mistakes, I'd never learn. You can only go forward by making mistakes. I'm twenty-seven, not fifty-seven. I'm not Givenchy, I'm Alexander McQueen."
Hell yes you were Alexander! You were the designer of our era! And you were one and only ALEXANDER MCQUEEN.
I have been on style.com watching all his collections, on youtube watching the shows.
I know it won't be the same any other fashion week without the Alexander McQueen show made by himself.
Rest in peace Alexander, we will miss you..

He is creative, he is funny, magical, glamour, fab, all that it is Benoit! Once you have one of his amazing pieces on your head you become a special girl.. Just check his new collection on his page:
Here are some pieces SS2010 of Benoit I took from his page, enjoy!!!!!!!!

I am a big fan of Craig McDean photos, so it was a pleasure for me to see his shooting for W magazine, there is something magic in the world he creates on his photos. It reminds me of two films I completely adore: Virgin Suicides of Sophie Coppola and Picnic at Hanging Rock of Peter Weir.

I will write more about it later ( about the jungle in SS2010) but I just wanted to say that it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS the new campaign of Alexander Mc Queen, i know, i know, everybody have already seen it but still it is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
Below it: shooting from French edition of Vogue- snakes are very, very fashionable, very a la mode this coming season
Those who knows me do know that I love colors, I love them so much!
I love colorfull clothes, I love all that color mess and how we can play with it.
So much I love it but then in private life all I put on is finally only black and gray.
If I look in my warderobe it is almost sick how dark it is.
If somebody would tell me now to pick 2 outfits for the rest of my life I would probably keep a little black dress and a pair of black jeans with black or grey t-shirt.
Anyways that was not what I wanted to write about, today I wanted to write about Louise Grey,
yes Louise Grey have showed her 5th collection for SS2010 and believe me if I had to put color today, right now on me and I would have to pick an outfit colorfull and so not "black me" I will go for it. Because I love the way she plays with it, I love how she manage to make it a bit naive, playing with a kitsch in a smart way and so stylish at the same time. Maybe some little things I would change in the total look but that is probably because of my black and gray nature.
I am posting some photos from her web page for you.

HEAL FASHIONLAB is a French label that have made a very successful start last season AW2009 with their sceleton inspired, sculptural, architectural collection.
No wonder that this SS2010 Barcelona Fashion Week, their show was was something everybody were waiting for.
This time the designers Hervé and Alice were inspired by the sea and by the sailors. In this collection we have dresses full of wind as sails, sailor stripes in different shades as watercolors on fabric, sailor caps, ocean blue fabric. We are in the marine world..
The collection is going much more commercial direction then the first one, but clearly continues the style from the AW2009 with the inspiration of sceleton forms. Hervé and Alice manage somehow made their pieces sophisticated and casual at the same time.
Looking at collection Haute-Couture SS2010 Valentino it would be hard not to say that Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli did see Avatar, not only they have seen it but also liked it.
Yes it is very futuristic no doubt about it but my question is: isn't it a little bit too far away from the Valention's spirit?

I have always liked leather pants so even more i am happy that this coming season SS2010 will be about rock'n'roll cyber chicks, will be about leather pants and minimalistic black look.
This style is so easy going, you just have to put it on and you rock it.. worth saying: it is also very sexy- but that we all know!

This summer FLUO colors attack our shoes: all tricks are being used: transparent plexiglas, patent leather, wood etc. and all that in flashy colors! Here above I picked some examples for you girls (from the left): Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Proenza Schouler.
If some of you weren't so sure if the military look, presented by many designers during pret-a-porter SS2010, such as Balmain, Jean Paul Gaultier, or Marc Jacobs for example, lasts, here is the news, this look was just presented by Christian Dior RTW pre-fall 2010 collection (photo below). I guess military look will stay with us another season so we might start getting all that armylicious clothes.
I dont know about you but I am definitely waiting for the Burton's film Alice in Wonderland.
For this occasion Printemps in Paris prepared their shop windows. All started by the special Nicholas Kirkwood’s heels, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Other designers shown in each window shop are: Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander McQueen, Bernhard Willhelm, Charles Anastase, Christopher Kane, Chloé, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, and Maison Martin Margiela.
If there is one thing in our warderobe that we all do have, one element we all have in common, it is JEANS- the best invention of the 1950's, so here even better news, jeans are again and again the trend of the season SS2010, and that can make us simply happy!
